9 Handsome Nollywood Actors Who Survived Fatal Car Accidents (Photos)

From Dagrin to MCLoph to Duke “LinChung,” one thing these departed Nollywood stars have in common is that they all died in horrifying car accidents.

Car accidents are no laughing matter, which is why we are always thankful when someone survives one.

The following are nine attractive Nollywood actors who put the Devil to shame by surviving catastrophic car accidents.



Okey Bakassi

On their trip to Owerri, Imo state, for an event in June 2011, Okey Bakassi was involved in a tragic accident. The automobile he was in was said to have crashed after many somersaults.

Thankfully, the actor/comedian walked away from the incident unharmed.

Richard Mofe Damijo

On January 18, 2012, the celebrity actor, commonly known as RMD, was involved in a horrific car accident. Warri, Delta state, was the scene of the accident.

The SUV in which he was being taken had been considered beyond repair. The actor was pulled from the rubble and sent to the hospital.


Sylvester Madu

The veteran actor was killed in an automobile accident on his route from Awka, Anambra state, to Asaba, Delta state, on November 2, 2014. His vehicle three times somersaulted, yet he survived. Isn’t God amazing?


Bovi, the ace comedian and actor, was once involved in a horrific car accident on a route in Ikoyi, Lagos. State

On May 18, 2015, his car was struck by another vehicle at an intersection, resulting in an accident. Fortunately, the star-comic only sustained a left eye injury. He was brought to the hospital, where he received treatment for his eye injuries.


Jamiu Azeez

Nollywood is well-known in Nigeria. Jamiu Azeez, a Yoruba actor, survived a horrifying car accident in late December 2017.

He was driving to a movie set in Ilorin, Kwara state, when he was involved in a car accident.


Yul Edochie

Yul Edochie claims that on June 4, just before Ore, while driving east, his automobile lost control and went off the road, slid many times, and ended up in a gutter. He claims he was driving between 100 and 120 km/h on the highway when the collision occurred.

With a few wounds and bruises, he made it through the accident.

Ayanfe Adekunle

Ayanfe Adekunle, often known as Monsuru, was hospitalized in 2018 after suffering significant injuries in a car accident.

Kelvin Ikeduba

Kelvin Ikeduba is grateful to be alive today after narrowly avoiding death in an automobile accident in 2013 while going from Ibadan to Abeokuta.

Kelvin Ikeduba’s car somersaulted three times on the expressway, according to witnesses at the accident scene.

Some good Samaritans at the vehicle accident scene took him to an unnamed hospital.


John Okafor

Mr. Ibu, a Nigerian comic actor, crashed his white BMW SUV in the Lekki-Ikoyi roundabout in Lagos in 2016. The actor swerved off the road and landed on a nearby pavement. Thankfully, nothing bad happened to him.
