The People’ s Democratic Party PDP has denied claims that members of the National Working Committee (NWC) engaged in bribery.

Recall that, in separate letters seen by a news correspondent in Abuja, Taofik Arapaja, Dan Orbih, and Stella Effah- Attoe, who are the party’ s National Women Leader, Deputy National Chairman (South), and National Vice Chairman (South- South), respectively, stated that they were returning the money that was given to them by the party because the purpose was unclear to them. PDP Denied Bribe Allegation, Explains Why The Party Send ₦28. 8 & ₦36 Million To NWC Members

According to the Daily Post, the National Working Committee (NWC) members’ alleged involvement in bribery has been refuted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Of the NWC’ s 19 members, at least six have allegedly requested the money back after Iyorchia Ayu, the national chairman, allegedly gave his consent.

The sums range from N28. 8 million to N36 million, depending on the recipient’ s rank. The public has access to the letters of refund.

Along with Stella Effah- Attoe, the National Woman Leader, and Dan Orbih, the National Vice Chairman, South- South, Taofeek Arapaja, the Deputy National Chairman for the South, has refunded.
