Politics: 2023: APC UK inaugurates campaign council Daily Parrot


INTERIM National Working Committee (NWC) of All Progressives Congress (APC) in  United Kingdom (UK) has inaugurated its UK campaign council for next year’s elections.

The event, at the Methodist Church Camberwell in UK, was part of it’s move to boost its Diaspora and grassroots mobilisation.

Committee Chairman , Tunde Doherty, said in a statement that the council would bolster activities of APC both in UK and Nigeria.

Doherty said members were from Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO), Tinubu Support Group (TSG), Southwest Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT), Christian Network for Asiwaju (CNA), Real Jagaban People (RJP) Hope 2023 group, Nigeria Diaspora for Asiwaju (NDA,), and others.

Special Adviser to Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun on Education, who is also APC National Director Professional Women Council, Mrs. Ronke Soyombo was special guest at the event.

Mrs. Soyombo said she would provide opportunity for women to be involved in politics, while assuring the APC government of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as president would make 35 per cent women appointees a reality.

Members of the council included Olumuyiwa Adesua as director general, Bukola Apena as his deputy, Ayokunle Agunbiade as secretary, Hajia Ayisat Gbajabiamila as director of Media.
