WHY Labour Party Chairman Said The Party Will Join People To Fight Peter Obi If He Wins 2023 Presidential Election
According to Information Nigeria, Julius Abure, the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), said that if Peter Obi were to win the election, the party will hold him accountable for his campaign pledges.
The party, according to Abure, will not only form a government but will also ” join the people and fight” any of its elected officials who break their promises to the electorate. Abure made this statement in an interview with THISDAY on Tuesday.
” If they form a government and decide not to do what the people want, we will abandon them and join the people to fight them. We are going to have a paradigm shift in the manner and ways politics is played in Nigeria. We are going to provide leadership by example.
