Court nullifies APC guber primaries in Taraba
The All Progressives Congress candidate for governor in Taraba State, Emmanuel Bwacha, has been dismissed by a federal high court sitting in the state capital of Jalingo.
Following a petition from one of the candidates, David Sabo Kente, Bwacha was fired.
Justice Simon Amobeda ordered a new primary to be held in Taraba within 14 days, relying on the information that was presented to the court that no governorship primary had been held there.

The judgement further mandated that the Independent National Electoral Commission cease immediately from designating Emmanuel Bwacha as the party’s candidate, and that the incumbent senator for Taraba South cease acting as the APC’s nominee for governor.
