Following the Forum of PDP candidates and aspirants’ vote of no confidence on the national chairman, Sen. Iyorchia Ayu, the national secretary, Sen. Samuel Anyanwu, and the deputy national chairman (North), Umar Damagum, yesterday, the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is still in a state of crisis.

PDP Crisis Takes New Turn As Party’ s Aspirants And Candidates Forum Passed Votes Of No Confidence On Ayu

The major opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is still mired in crisis after yesterday’ s vote of no confidence by the Forum of PDP candidates and aspirants in the national chairman, Sen. Iyorchia Ayu, the national secretary, Sen. Samuel Anyanwu, and the deputy national chairman (North), Umar Damagum.

Additionally, the candidates submitted a petition to the National Executive Committee (NEC) with a unanimous demand that Ayu, Anyanwu, and Damagum resign or be removed from office within 48 hours, failing which legal action will be taken to remove the three executives by force.
