Without any evidence to back the claim, IPOB on Wednesday, October 12, claimed that the Nigerian government has continued to take steps that would continue to put the country in a difficult situation and make the people not support the government.
Emma Powerful, the spokesman of IPOB alleged that the Buhari government took a step to give freedom to over 100 Boko Haram terrorists that were recently arrested while the leader of the group, Nnamdi Kanu has been made to stay in the custody of the DSS against his will since he was illegally brought back to the country many months ago.
Speaking further, Emma Powerful claimed that a while ago, about 101 members of the deadly Boko Haram terrorist organization were released on the order of the president of Nigeria even though there are much evidence and proof to prosecute the deadly group.
He added that the government has refused to take any step despite many bad incidents and terrorist attacks which happened at the Kuje Prison and other government facilities in different parts of the country.
He, however, reminded the Nigerian government that the leader of the IPOB must not be harmed in the DSS custody.
According to a report from Sahara Reporters, the spokesman of the IPOB on Wednesday alleged that the Nigerian government has continued to take steps that are in support of the activities of the terrorist groups in the country while innocent individuals have been punished for doing nothing.
