According to LEADERSHIP, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja IIl, has cautioned the Federal Government and university professors from driving young Nigerians to suicide by continuing the protracted strike action launched by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
Speaking to reporters just before starting the annual 7- day seclusion ritual as part of events commemorating the annual Olojo festival in Ile- Ife, he declared that the government must urgently put an end to the ongoing ASUU strike in order to prevent the impending rage of Nigerian youths.
As Nigeria prepares for the general election of next year, the co- chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN) declared that he would use the spiritual moment of seclusion as a point of contact with God Almighty to resolve all difficulties in Nigeria.
