On Wednesday, members of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), governors of the party, and the National Working Committee (NWC), which is led by Senator Abdullahi Adamu, met to find a solution to the crisis that is currently rocking the All Progressives Congress (APC).
It was reported that the governor’ s meeting with the NWC and the PCC took place in the national secretariat of the party.
Those who attended the meeting are the Chairman of the APC Governors Forum, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state, Abdullahi Ganduje from Kano, Abubakar Badaru Mohammed from Jigawa, Simon Lalong from the Plateau, and Director General of the PCC, Abubakar Sani Bello from Niger, and Abdullahi Sule from Sule State (Nasarawa).
In addition to that, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, a former National Chairman of the APC, as well as directors from the PCC, were also present at the meeting.
According to the report, the meeting discussed the postponed zonal tour by the six National Vice Chairmen and also reviewed the arrangements for the ” APC National Conference, ” which it hopes to commence before the end of the year.
During the discussion, the members also discussed how the campaign council should be structured.
The report revealed that the PCC directors who were present at the meeting and who had earlier met with some of the governors on Wednesday night reassured the NWC that all unclear areas in the campaign council list have been addressed.
