A Federal High Court in Zamfara State has nullified the primary election that produced Alhaji Dauda Lawal Dare as the state’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the forthcoming general elections.

A former federal lawmaker, who also contested for the election, Alhaji Ibrahim Shehu Gusau, had approached the court seeking the nullification of the PDP primary election won by Dare, citing gross irregularities.

Atiku Abubakar Jets Out To Europe

Hours after the membership of the Presidential Campaign Council of the Peoples Democratic Party was made public, the party’s Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has announced his intention to travel to Europe on a business trip.

A statement signed by his Media Adviser, Mazi Paul Ibe, in Abuja, said the former Vice President will be travelling immediately after his meeting with the leadership of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) alongside the PDP vice presidential candidate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta, in Lagos, on Friday.

Residents of Aladja community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, on Friday morning, raised the alarm that the people of Ogbe-Ijoh community in Warri South-West Local Government were allegedly shooting sporadically at their (Aladja) community.
